Tree Felling
Tree felling is the action of cutting down a tree to prevent the spread of disease and improve safety in the area.
Felling is the process of cutting down trees, an element of the task of logging. The person cutting the trees is a feller. A feller buncher is a machine capable of felling a single large tree or grouping and felling several small ones simultaneously.

Management Plans
A forest management plan defines the planned forestry activities; inventory, yield calculation, harvesting, silviculture, protection, and monitoring. It specifies objectives, actions, and control arrangements in a forest area.
Timber Harvesting
There are three major groups of timber harvest practices; clearcutting, shelterwood and selection systems. While each are different and are applied to specific forest types, they have three things in common: They provide wood fiber for thousands of every-day products.

Tree Marking
Tree marking is done to indicate which trees to cut and which trees to leave based on a silvicultural prescription, which generally includes the target basal area and the desired number of trees per acre.
Tree Planting
Tree planting, is the transplanting of a seedling or sapling tree to a permanent position. Tree planting is also: an exercise or ceremony attending such an act.
Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding. Many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals.

Land Clearing
Land clearing is the development of land with the intention of creating a potential use for agricultural purposes. Land clearing requires the removal of native cover – including trees, bushes, and boulders – from the land surface. The land is subsequently broken to create a workable bed into which a crop can be seeded. Clearing land provides more room for plants to grow and gives the plants better access to water, nutrients, and sunlight. When plants and trees are overgrown, it isn't beneficial for the land as it promotes weeds and other undesirable plant growth, contributing to soil erosion.
